Overview of The Department of Civil Engineering (TIEST)
The Department of Civil Engineering (TIEST) was formed by a team of Service-oriented individuals to promote education and culture in all aspects to achieve and fulfil the mission and Vision of NED University of Engineering and Technology. As an established and highly esteemed institution, we maintain an utmost academic standard, incorporated with the conduct of discipline, thereby achieving remarkable and excellent Professionals. The Program has set specific objectives and planned activities for achieving excellence in all spheres of technical education. The Program serves in creating personally mature, professionally equipped and service-oriented graduates is worth mentioning. Department of Civil Engineering firmly believe that Civil Engineers have the key role in a nation's progress and therefore it is our bounded duty to provide the best academic and industrial training to the young Engineers. The Program endeavours to comfort the students with all the necessary knowledge and skills to become truly successful in the Civil Engineering and allied fields.
Construction of Departmental Building at New Campus
The Government of Sindh has allocated 340 acres land in Deh Mithrio Bhatti for the construction of full-fledged new campus. Master plan of the new campus is shown with a separate building for establishing full-fledged Department of Civil Engineering (under construction)
